8 weeks

I can't believe its been 8 weeks!  And then again, at the same time, I don't really remember life before this little guy came around.  In the past 4 weeks Anders has grown, and grown, and grown!  He doesn't have his 2 month appt until next week, so I don't really know how big he is, but he sure looks big, and he sure feels heavy :)
He has become very expressive.  He smiles ALL the time.  Except when I am trying to take a pic of him that is.  He is starting to respond a lot more, and we have full conversations where I talk, and then he responds each time.  Its pretty heart meltingly adorable.  He has rolled over twice, front to back, though I don't think that either of them was in any way intentional.  He has also mastered drinking from a bottle, which is Very nice, since he still wants to eat about every two hours.  It allows me to have some time away :)  He is sleeping better at night as well.  In the past week he has slept from 12:30-5 a.m. about 3 times, and last night he slept until almost 6!!  But, he didn't go down until   after 1 :)  He still loves to sleep in bed with us at night.  I finally got to the point where I was ok with him sleeping in his bed (because lets be honest here.  I'm the one who wanted him in bed with me probobly a little more than he wanted to be in bed with me) but now I find that I go to brush my teeth, and I come back and Baby is all snuggled in under the covers next to Clay.  Its pretty adorable, and I don't blame him since he is gone a lot during the day.  He probably sleeps in bed with us about half of the time, but is fully capable of sleeping in his own bed, which is what is really important :)
The other night Clay and I were watching an episode of How I Met Your Mother, and something funny happened so we both laughed out loud, and to our delight, Anders joined in with us!  It was the cutest thing I have ever heard!  He has only giggled 2 or 3 times, but its the best sound in the whole world.  I just Love it.
I had to clean out his drawers, and put away all the clothes that are too small for him now.  Crazy how fast that happened!  And all his little socks go only halfway on his foot anymore!  I was sitting next to my neighbor in church on sunday, and looked down and noticed that Anders feet were bigger than her baby's feet.  And her baby just turned one!  But to be fair, she is a girl, and she is teeny tiny.  So I guess I really shouldnt be comparing.  But it still seemed a little crazy to me.
Anders hair is coming back in now, and I just love his fuzzy little head.  The hair is pretty light brown, so its still a little hard to see, but its nice to know that the front half of his head won't be bald forever.
We just love this little boy to pieces, and we are so glad that he seems to like us back.  Best 2 Months Ever :)
