About 2 weeks ago something changed. Anders went from being content to just sit and chew on something, to wanting to move all the time. He is so wiggly. Last night he pushed himself up onto his hands and knees (crawl position) for the very first time. Today he keeps doing it, and is rocking back and forth. So adorable. I know it means trouble, but clay and I are so excited for him to crawl. It's just so fun to see him reach these milestones. He finally is eating solids without gagging and choking every other second. He loves applesauce best, but will willingly open his mouth for other options.
Anders is getting his top teeth in, which means biting on everything and drooling. He is such a champ though. He really hasn't been fussy at all. One tooth has cut through, and the other will any day now. The best part is that it isn't his front two teeth that are coming in, it's the ones next to them, which totally make him look like a little vampire.
In the past week Anders has been on four flights, and I'm thinking that clay and I might have to become professional travelers because our babe is such a pro. Monday, Anders feel asleep at takeoff for both our flights, and happily listened to French songs when he woke up. Friday, he fell asleep at take off and didn't wake up until after we had landed on both of our flights. Amazing.
A few minutes ago, before I put him in his bed, Anders was asleep in my arms. He giggled a little in his sleep, giggled a little again, and then burst out into full on laughter. He must have been dreaming of something good! Clay and I were dying. Cutest thing ever. I feel so blessed to be the mom of such a happy little guy. Love him.
yay! Naomi won't be the only vampire baby in the family! Honestly, it's super cute when they get the "fangs" first...
ReplyDeleteVery exciting on the crawling news--keep it up Anders! Let the adventures begin! :)
