Holaa... from Barcelonaaaa!

After Marseilles, we headed straight to Barcelona. Clay had been here before, and loved it, and really wanted to bring me back. We had a little bit of a struggle right at the beginning, we had booked our Hotel online, and when we got in they were full... Apparently their computers were down so they didn't know we were coming. But it turned out ok, since they put is up in a supposedly nicer hotel about a block away. And, we got free breakfast for the inconvenience, though we did have to ask him for it. The next day we headed out and checked out the port. Then we walked over to the Mercado Boqueria. Its a food market that sells pretty much everything. It was awesome. They have stands with Fresh juice in about every flavor/combination imaginable. We shared 3 of them I think, and then we bought some fresh fruit platter thingys for one or 2 euro each, and enjoyed breakfast. We spent the rest of the day exploring Barcelona and looking for all of the cool buildings that were designed by the architect Gaudi. When we were at Sagrada Familia, the awesome looking cathedral designed by Gaudi, we completely passed out on the grass in an adjacent park. When we woke up, Amy had an insatiable urge to eat chips, so we found her some salty goodness and continued on. We checked into a hostel for the night and went out for dinner. We had an incredible three course meal for only 10 euros a piece, drinks included, where we enjoyed chickpea stew, walnut pasta, steak, fried cod, flan, and ice-cream. The next day we explored Park Gual, another beauty given to us by Gaudi. It was incredible. All in all, Barcelona was a success.
